Description

Been a very rough year getting integration time in where I am at with weather and Canadian forest fire smoke. While I am going through chemo, that has nothing to do with not finishing as many projects this year. In fact, I wish I had more clear nights to take my mind off of cancer treatment.

NGC 7026 is very small coming in at 0.2 x 0.5 arcmin. I drizzled the data 4x to try to tease out more detail.

NGC 7026 is a planetary nebula located 6000 light-years away, in the constellation of Cygnus. The central star of the planetary nebula has a spectral type of [WO3], indicating a spectrum similar to that of an oxygen-rich Wolf–Rayet star. An analysis of Gaia data suggests that it is a binary system.
